“Genesis” is a derivation of the emotive sculpture “Origins” and is an expression of tenderness and passion, with the intertwined figures conveying a sense of bliss and fulfillment. The column is a depiction of the spiraling infusion of DNA from the beginning of life and the continuation of human creation. Organic in its beauty, the bodies of the two are drawn together in a flowing composition that recalls the natural world of all living things.
