Le Ballet: Daphnis et Chloe is an original color lithograph by Marc Chagall. The design was created for Maurice Ravels ballet Daphnis and Chloe which was performed at the Paris Opera on June 3, 1959. Chagall revisited the theme of Daphne and Chloe, and the adventures of the innocent young lovers throughout his career, however Le Ballet: Daphnis et Chloe is considered to be one of artist's more joyful explorations of the theme.
