Inspired by the Bay Area Figurative Movement, Mulligan blurs the line between abstraction and realism, transforming everyday scenes into wondrous plays of color, line and form. In "Summer Colors", the artist uses crisp lines, geometric shapes, and vibrant colors to capture a beautiful day at Doheny State Beach in Southern California.

Timothy Mulligan attended Sacramento City College and received a degree in Fine Art from California State University, Sacramento. He studied under notable artists Gregory Kondos, Gerald Walburg, and Peter VandenBerge. His paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout California and across the nation.
