This instant charmer of a 'medical book' explains the myriad benefits of wine, while being splashed by accompanying original lithographs of the famed artist, Raoul Dufy. However, his illustrations did not depict people drinking wine, rather images of the effects of wine civilized health and happiness. Born in Le Harve, Dufy began his studies there, taking night classes at LEcole des Beaux Arts. He became one of the most important Paris period artists next to Matisse, Braque and Gauguin.
