Andy Warhol appropriated this iconic image of Marilyn Monroe from a publicity still for the 1953 film, Niagara. In 1967, he released a limited quantity of 10 screen prints using this portrait and many hoped that he would release another edition. However, Warhol was disinterested, prompting Sunday B. Morning to produce an edition of unauthorized prints. These became so popular that they now continue to print them from the original screens. Sunday B. Morning color screenprints are printed on museum board with the highest quality archival inks and are stamped in blue ink, 'Published by Sunday B. Morning' and 'fill in your own signature,' on verso.
