Using...In this one-of-a-kind work entitled "Pink Lilies", James Galindo uses oil and glass to create a wonderful and highly realistic depiction of monarchs dancing amongst a group of lilies. Using multiple layers of glass, Galindo hand paints each plate individually. Once complete, the plates are then combined together to create the final composition. Using paint and glass to suggest the illusion of light, form, shadow and depth, Galindo creates unique sculptures that continue to delight.
