“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” – Pablo Picasso This composition was created in the fall of 1970 at the Studios of Guenther Dietz, Munich. Picasso created his original drawings, and then reproduced them by hand through a unique process that employs similar materials, instead of the usual printing inks. Grease crayon, lithographic tusche, lead pencil, and charcoal are among the artist's materials used in making this composition. The paper itself is handmade and is pure rag Vélin d'Arches Paper.
