In this one-of-a-kind work entitled "Untitled, Purple and Yellow", Galindo uses oil and glass to create a wonderful and highly realistic depiction of dancing yellow and white orchids. Using multiple layers of glass, each plate is individually hand-painted. Once complete, the plates are then combined together to create the final piece. Using paint and glass to create the illusion of light, form, shadow and depth, Galindo creates contemporary sculptures that continue to delight.
