                                                    “Summer Rain, 2015” was created during the artist’s two week teaching residential at the Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, California. Featured as part of Dawson Cole Fine Art's exhibition entitled, 'Pacific Series' "Summer Rain" captures the artist's study of subjects along the Laguna Beach coastline.
Jian Wang views printmaking as an exciting way to further explore the original idea. “With each step, you have a different direction you can go. For me, each option has the potential to create new meaning. I love the open-ended possibilities of processes; even a mistake can take your image in a new direction.”
