With more than three decades of experience in the fine art industry, Richard brings a thoughtful, highly personalized approach to collecting. His expertise spans established contemporary artists, internationally recognized masters, and significant works represented in museum collections. Working closely with private collectors, designers, and institutions, he provides guidance on acquisitions, collection development, and the thoughtful placement of art in residential, commercial, and institutional settings.
Richard holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). As President of Dawson Cole Fine Art, he has guided the gallery's growth since opening its Laguna Beach location in 1997, expanding to Palm Desert and establishing longstanding partnerships with luxury resorts.
