Connections highlights the different perspectives arrived at by two artists from the Bay Area – Wayne Thiebaud and Jian Wang. In centuries past the relationship between master and apprentice could be traced through the stylistic links reflecting the continuity of their connection. Connections exemplifies this inspiration and connection in an exhibition of works with similar themes by the two California artists: landscape and still life.
